Consumers will have an extra incentive to shop in Norman this weekend as opposed to spending money south of the Red River.
Today is the first day of the Tax Free Weekend-Plus in Norman. Joanne Stoy, Norman Chamber of Commerce director of member services and sales, said as of Wednesday afternoon, 80 merchants had signed up to offer deals to shoppers.
“The Retail Trade Committee encourages shoppers to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to save money by shopping Norman’s Tax Free Weekend-Plus,” Stoy said.
