Has anyone noticed that a bunch of trees were planted about 3 weeks ago on the NW section of this interchange? It's odd because it's only that corner, and nothing has been done to the other three.
I don't know who payed for it, but it's exactly what needs to be done at EVERY interchange in the city.

Something like the Kilpatrick/I-35/Turner interchange. The trees there have all matured and make that interchange look great.
I was driving on the BA expressway and the south part of the IDL in Tulsa and was loving the way the trees seem to come out of the retaining walls.
I agree, We need more trees! Especially Edmond, to make up for the tree raping and pillaging perpatrated by careless developers.

These are usually done by OKC Beautiful and/or whomever adopts the space. Perhaps lifechurch.tv or one of the hotels that are at that intersection donated it? Just a thought...

Well, lifechurch is on the SE corner, and the hotels are on the SW corner, so that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Possibly the neighborhood on the NW corner?

It is quite possibly the City of Edmond.

But why not the whole interchange?

I don't know. They might not be done yet.
