What are some good "happy hour" places to hang with the coworkers after work? Places that are smoke free with drinks and appetizers are what I'm thinking.

Interesting drinks with diffferent takes on the old classics as well as a great bar menu. The atmosphere will be second to none...no place like this in the state. Blangdon 06-26-2007, 11:03 AM Where is RedPrimeSteak going to be? I would also say the Skirvin (for your higher dollar happy hour) and Deep Deuce (more moderate) are two great spots as well. Turanacus 06-26-2007, 12:42 PM they don't call it happy hour just because the bar is open, we're looking for kick ass drink specials. I know cock o' the walk has a happy hour, it's not great. TGIF has a happy hour, pretty good. Bricktown Brewery is the best happy hour I visit, food and drinks be making me happy at cheap prices. BFizzy 06-26-2007, 05:28 PM The requirements of a good Happy Hour in descending order are: 1. Cheap Drinks 2. Cheap Food 3. Proximity to Workplace 4. Atmosphere Mickey Mantle has a free appetizer buffet and $1.50 domestic longnecks. Coach's has $1.75 house pints. Rococo has drink specials and free "cookies" which are slices of baguettes toasted with bleu cheese and asiago. Belle Isle Brewery has $1.75 house pints. If I worked in Norman, I would go to the Library where they have $1.75 house pints and the best "laid back" atmosphere in the metro. Turanacus 06-26-2007, 05:32 PM i concur with the library comment. that would be the best option. mary the bartender is very hot , so that's another bonus. Pete 06-26-2007, 10:13 PM Elephant Bar always has great drink and appetizer specials. Midtowner 06-26-2007, 11:47 PM McNellie's sounds like it'll be a great place. Personally, I don't get to go to happy hour... just class. When we go for drinks after class, it's usually to Rococco which is close to campus. tuck 06-27-2007, 06:35 AM Where is RedPrimeSteak going to be? All good places - go where it suits you. Just seemed like a good-sized drink at Mickey's. CCOKC 07-25-2007, 08:03 AM It seems like you can't get a good drink downtown any more that costs less than $10. You can add the Red Piano and XO to the expensive drink list. lika do da chacha 07-25-2007, 10:05 AM Othello's bar poured huge and was reasonably priced.
