Easy180 05-15-2007, 11:03 AM W/o Lost in the fall...Only one I watch (willingly) is Boston Legal
Not looking forward to having to (unwillingly) watch the second hour of Grey's Anatomy
ABC is all about the chicks in the fall :fighting3
soonerliberal 05-15-2007, 11:46 AM Sadly Boston Legal and Football are the only ones that seem that intriguing to me. I might have to check out Big Shots, but right now, CBS still looks king to me.
jbrown84 05-15-2007, 12:06 PM Already had a thread for this...
PUGalicious 05-15-2007, 12:58 PM No we didn't. Yours was about NBC, regardless of how generic the title was.
jbrown84 05-15-2007, 01:30 PM Except that it said "fall schedules" and the very first sentence discusses how ALL the networks will be announcing schedules.
PUGalicious 05-15-2007, 01:47 PM So you are the only one entitled to start new threads on this subject? Who appointed you OFFICIAL network schedule thread moderator?
Jimmy's Big Toe 05-15-2007, 03:17 PM The Caveman show???? The commercials are mildly amusing...not sure it would make a good sitcom. Seems like there would only be one joke (and that will get old quick!)
jbrown84 05-15-2007, 03:21 PM So you are the only one entitled to start new threads on this subject? Who appointed you OFFICIAL network schedule thread moderator?
No one, but the title and body of my post suggested that it was a thread about all the networks' schedules. If you wanted to post it you could have done it there.
PUGalicious 05-15-2007, 03:25 PM Or I could have started a new thread, which I did.
Oh GAWD the Smell! 05-16-2007, 03:55 AM While I find Boston Legal to be madly entertaining from time to time, I refuse to watch it because of Hearst-Argyle and their high-definition hijinks. No ABC or Fox shows for me.:numchucks

Boston Legal is too irresistible for me to not watch it, despite Hearst-Argyle's ineptitude. However, other than that show, I boycott all other KOCO programming for the same reason.
BailJumper 05-17-2007, 07:07 AM JBrown84 must be suffering from "thread envy."
I can't believe they are really doing a spinoff of an insurance comercial! Did anyone see the previews? The costumes and makeup were know where near the quality as seen on the commercials. I predict a quick death.
Boston Legal for sure for me. Crazy to boycott a channel over HD concerns when most channels are not in HD and most television owners do not have HD.
We also love Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters.

KOCO and KOKH both broadcast most primetime network programming in HD. They just don't make it available to Cox customers. And, no, it's not silly. I prefer to watch HD programming since I invested in HD equipment. If the programming is available, why would I not want to have the opportunity to take advantage of it? If a corporate owner of a local station is wanting to play greed hardball with the local cable company, making unreasonable and unrealistic demands, then I choose to boycott that local station to do my part in negatively impacting their ratings to encourage them to reconsider. It may not work, but I'm doing my part. I stopped watching KOCO programming -- except for Boston Legal — after the dispute last fall. I used to watch their newscasts, but don't any longer and weekly e-mail the general manager to remind them why I'm not watching and why I'm encouraging friends and family to stop watching.
Easy180 05-17-2007, 08:25 AM Pug...Do they ever reply back to you?
Going to have to suffer through another season of OU/Tex not in HD
PUGalicious 05-17-2007, 08:49 AM Pug...Do they ever reply back to you?
For the first few weeks, yes... with a form letter. Now they don't even bother to reply.
Martin 05-17-2007, 08:54 AM KOCO has gone cheap all the way when it comes to HD. Not only do they deny access to Cox, but they use a crappy method to transmit their HD signal over the airwaves... I can't even get their signal with a standard HD antenna. I don't think it's unreasonable for anyone to get ticked off with KOCO for their unwillingness to deliver HD content.
oh... and if a thread is deemed to be a duplicate, then a moderator will take care of it. if you see something that maybe we overlooked, let us know. no need for users to police other users in this department.

I guarantee we will be using our first amendment right to free speech on that stupid, no talent caveman. We will turn the channel.
Can you say canceled after less than one season? GOD! I hope so!
PUGalicious 05-18-2007, 04:36 AM ^^^ Has Andy come out of hiding?
Martin 05-18-2007, 05:39 AM oh, anderson.... you've got some 'splaining to do! -M
