Nike commercial shot in OKC this evening (10/21/11)

I don't have a lot of details, but if you were in the area of Classen/Western and 21st/22nd this evening and wondered why police cars were blocking the roads and why there were lots of trucks and a crane and why a helicopter was flying around The Classen, it's because there was a Nike commercial being filmed on the amenities deck (top of the parking garage). We're supposed to be told when it will air. I will update if they tell us.

I also have direct information that Nike is using the local home of someone I do business with to film a commercial with Kevin Durant. That's just one more benefit to our "Thunder" experience.

Well, there's a basketball court on the deck with a great view of the OKC skyline in the background, so it would make a great spot for such a commercial.

Lol it's pretty cool, he talks about him like they're old time buddies. Lol when they did a movie here a year or so back, Jessica Alba was in the movie and she sat next to him during lunch one day and they started talking. Don't mean to brag any but it is pretty legit having a brother who associates with famous people. Lol

Pretty sweet! That church is First Presbyterian and the school I think is Taft Middle. The barn I would guess is in Spencer. The opening/ending street scene is Shields I believe from Capitol Hill. Now I want to go track down the rest of 'em and go play..

The Devon tower was certainly one of the co stars of that ad. I think it's meant to complement the tallness of KD.
